The Department of For Hire Vehicles (DFHV) is adding a $1 surcharge to taxi fares starting March 16, 2022. The surcharge will help off-set the effects of the US ban on Russian oil and high prices at the gas pump.

Service for VetsRide will continue uninterrupted after January 1st. The program will use new vendors, however clients will have service as usual.

DC Neighborhood Connect is an on-demand shared-ride shuttle service that operates in parts of wards 1, 4, and 5. Learn more about the program, the new services areas and changes coming on March 28, 2022.
