The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, and closed on observed District Holidays. 

Effective January 13, 2020, Face ID exams are offered Monday through Friday from 9:30 am until 2:00 pm. No appointment is necessary.  
 
One Stop and Face ID applications are accepted Monday through Friday from 8:30 am until 3:30 pm.
 
Notice to all FACE ID holders: All active Face-IDs and NDLs expiring after September 30, 2021 will be extended to November 1, 2021. This means operators who fail to renew on or before November 1, 2021 will be deactivated. Renewal is free. Visit the licensing and renewals page for more information. To comply with the DC Title 31 Section 1012.1 all For-Hire Vehicle Face ID Card Holders are responsible for turning in lost items to the DFHV
