(Washington, DC) The District of Columbia Taxicab Commission will begin registering applicants for the Limousine Operator’s License examination from July 31, 2012, thru August 23, 2012. Individuals who desire to obtain a Limousine Operator’s License shall apply in person at the Commission Office, located at 2041 Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue, SE, Washington, DC. Applicants will be received and processed on the lower level. The Commission will only accept applications on Tuesdays and Thursdays, between the hours of 12 noon and 3 pm. The application cost is $100, which is non-refundable. No new companies or vehicles will be registered at this time.
Interested persons should provide the following:
- $100 Money Order (ONLY) Payable to DC Treasurer
- A Valid Driver’s License
- A Valid Social Security Card
- Immigration Documentation (if applicable)
- Two (2) Full-faced Color Passport Photographs with White Background
Only the applicant will be able to register for and take the exam. The address on your identification must match the address used for registration. Once registered, a study packet will be issued to each person, containing study materials and other pertinent information.
The examination will be given on three separate weekends during the month of September. Applicants will be notified of the exact date, location and time. Any other relevant information will also be provided.
