DFHV is seeking information from the transportation industry regarding innovative models to operate Wheelchair Accessible (WAV) Taxi service. The agency hopes to learn more about private sector capacity, costs, and options to provide reliable WAV service and how operators could leverage the current regulatory structure or require policy reform. DFHV encourages current and perspective taxi, rideshare, para-transit, digital dispatch, micro-transit, or other operators to respond. The closing date for receipt of responses is Friday, February 27, 2026, by 5:00 pm EST. Responses should be submitted to the Office of Contracting and Procurement via the District's E-Sourcing system.
