The District of Columbia Taxicab Commission (“Commission”) has released an updated Taxicab Zone Map, which reflects a true north-south orientation and identifies major streets and points-of-interest. The Commission has also released a revised Passenger Rights document, required to be displayed on the back of the right passenger seat.

The Passenger Rights inform passengers of major taxicab service requirements in the District of Columbia. Both documents provide spaces to be completed by the taxicab operator or taxicab company with identifying information, such as the tag number of the vehicle, which passengers can read easily.
