The District of Columbia Taxicab Commission (“Commission”) has released the results of the telephone survey of
611 DC Columbia Taxicab riders from August 10 to August 14, 2007. Here is a sampling of some of the results.

Infrequent Use of Cabs by DC Residents

67 percent infrequent (up from 50 percent in 1994)

Opinion Split Over Change to Meters
