As a result of preliminary findings on the number of registered taxicabs and the current industry modernization efforts underway, effective immediately, the registration of new vehicles by taxicab companies is suspended until further notice.  This notice doesn’t impact  an equipment change -  a vehicle that will be  placed in service as a replacement to a vehicle with a current registration.
