The DC Taxicab Commission (“Commission”) will hold its monthly Full Commission meeting on Tuesday, June 17, 2003 instead of June 3rd.

The Commission will also hold a Public Hearing on June 17th to hear comments on a proposed rulemaking that will no longer require limousine operators to pass a written examination before obtaining a license to operate a limousine in the District of Columbia.

The Full Commission meeting will immediately follow the Public Hearing that will begin at 9:30 am in the Commission office. The office is located at 2041 Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave, SE, Suite 204. Persons desiring to submit items for the Full Commission meeting agenda are welcomed to do so in writing no later than Tuesday, June 3rd.

Any persons who would like to voice their opinions regarding the proposed rulemaking repealing the examination requirement for limousine operators should submit written comments no later than Tuesday, June 10th or contact the Commission office at 202-645-6019.
