DC Taxicab Commission Authorizes Additional Passenger Fare for Presidential Inauguration

DC taxicabs can charge $1.00 per additional passenger.

In accordance with the regulations of the DC Taxicab Commission (DCTC) all taxicabs licensed by DCTC are authorized to charge one dollar ($1.00) per additional passenger to the metered fare during the Presidential Inauguration Event. DC taxis will be allowed to charge this extra fare from 4:00 am January 21, 2013 until 12:00 midnight on January 21, 2013.
