Administrative issuances (“AIs”) interpret and provide guidance for compliance with certain Department of For-Hire Vehicles regulations when the agency determines that additional clarification is helpful for stakeholders. Topics addressed by AIs may include identifying required forms for license applications, setting deadlines for submitting information, and establishing methods for complying with regulations. Failure to comply with an AI may result in the denial of a license or an enforcement action under 31 DCMR § 703.
